ABOUT ME

Firstly the basics, my name is Lisa and I live in a lovely 70s style brown brick townhouse in Adelaide, Australia.  I was born in 1980 in the gorgeous city of Perth but moved here when I was 5. 

I have recently started my PhD at The University Of Adelaide in the Biochemistry department.  Yay I get three more years of hard work for not much money but hopefully it will be worth it in the end.

Silence disturbes me so i will listen to pretty much anything.  I listen to triple j, the last CD I bought was Radiohead "Hail to the Theif", the last CD I burnt was Aphex Twin.  My favourite live music moments are of seeing the Chemical Brothers at the 2000 Big Day Out and seeing Bjork at Rock Werchter in Belgium in 2003.

I love reading, I would love to say that I read pretty much anything but I haven't read nearly as much as I would like in the last few years.  Something to work on.

I love to travel, visit friends, eat sushi, drink Coopers,  bake cookies and go dancin'.

I dream of travelling more and seeing the world, and of ever finishing my PhD.
